We have several Farm/barn cats that need to be relocated due to the property being sold, or to reduce the number of locations the care taker feeds.  They have been spayed/neutered and some vaccinated. 

A farm cat still needs food, water and shelter.  It's been proven that  cats hunt more when fed regularly.  They spend more time hunting for entertainment and practice since they are not saving their energy just for survival.  An adopter must agree to provide food , water and shelter , you take care of them and they in return take care of rodent problems.  Farm cats are very good at keeping rabbits out of the garden and other pest too.

When they first arrive at the new location, they should be confined, fed & watered inside the barn for 2-3 weeks so they know that is their new den.  Most are semi people friendly.
