Mission
Coins 4 Critters is an official non-profit organization (501c 3 pending) dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted
animals and animals euthanized in the city of Muskogee mainly through spay/neuter assistance to pet owners in need. To foster
a culture of responsible pet ownership by educating the public on proper care and containment of pets. We also have
dogs, puppies,cats and kittens in foster care available for adoption. If you are looking for a specific type of pet and
do not see it here, contact us anyway. We work with other rescues and can refer you to them.
A Little About Us
We
have no shelter, all of our pets for adoption are in foster homes. We are all volunteers, taking care of some part of the organization.
To be a member is to be active in some part . Volunteers do one of the many jobs it takes to make Coins 4 Critters successful,
such as being a foster home,organizing rescues with foster homes,record keeping,grant writting,organizing fund raisers,setting
up adoption displays,picture taking, organizing pet information,taking applications for spay/neuter assistance,transporting pets to
medical appointments,tracking their health care needs,website creation,returning phone calls and emails, handeling mail, accounting,posting
our pets online, collecting cans or other donated items. We can always use more members/volunteers !
